Don’t Compare Shah Rukh Khan In Aanand Rai’s Film To Kamal Haasan In Appu Raja
Rubbishing rumours of similarities between the two characters, the superstar asserted that his look is different and the audience will get its glimpse soon
Ever since it was revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will play
a dwarf in Aanand L. Rai’s upcoming film, speculations have been rife that the
superstar’s look resembles that of Kamal Haasan’s in Appu Raja.

Rubbishing the rumours, SRK said that there are no similarities between the two. “My look is very different from Kamal Hassan’s in Appu Raja. We have done the test, we are through with the trailers. We will be releasing it (look) properly,” he said.

“It’s important that the audience accepts our effort. I
think we will begin (prep) work in a day or two,” he further said adding that
he will begin shooting for the project from March 21 and it will go
on for five-six months or maybe more.
Talking about the strong buzz which suggests that the
title of the film is Bandhua, SRK asserted that the team is yet to zero in on a
title. “We are still working on the title. It’s (‘Bandhu’) the name of some
other film,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, Raees continues to go steady at the
box-office. Reports suggest that the Rahul Dholakia-directed is fast
approaching the Rs 150 crore mark. On its second Saturday, the Shah Rukh
Khan-starrer collected an additional Rs. 9 crore (approx) and with that, the
overall collections stand at Rs. 137.96 crore (approx).
